ZWave
ZWave is one of the newer generation HA wireless mesh protocols.
We have migrated our X10 Appliance module infrastructure over to this now. A couple of simple Perl modules have been written to allow MisterHouse to talk to 2 different ZWave controllers over our LAN. The main house is covered by a MiCasaVerde (Now Ezlo) Vera Secure and Hubitat C8 and our garden shed is covered by a Raspberry Pi with a Razberry daughter card.
Now an end-of-life product but still handling a number of mains appliance modules etc. here.
One way communication from Misterhouse with a home built code module.
Using the Misterhouse native module giving bi-directional communication.
A new addition here now handling a number of appliance and motion sensors. Again with a home rolled Misterhouse link for module switching and custom code on the Hub for motion sensors etc.
